North Haven K9 Rescue Calendar To Help Homeless Dogs

North Haven police union creating calendar to support rescue animals.

NORTH HAVEN, CT -- One local couple is teaming up with the North Haven Police Union and police departments across the area to support furry friends in need.

North Haven Police Officer Val Queiroga and his wife, Gina, came up with an idea to support dogs in need. Along with the North Haven Police Union, the couple is creating a 2017 calendar, North Haven Police Union Rescue K 9-11 Calendar, to aid homeless dogs, The New Haven Register reports.

The calendar will raise both awareness and money for several dog rescue organizations.

Chris Foster and his wife Gina, of Light Thief Photography are photographing the dogs and Jeff Delucia, of JD Create, is helping produce the calendar and T-shirts, The Register reports.
