North Haven School Calendar For 2024-25: Key Dates To Know

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The end of summer is rapidly approaching for North Haven students, and it’s once again time to prepare for the upcoming school year.

The first day of school in North Haven Public Schools is Monday, Aug. 26, according to the 2024-25 district school calendar.

Here are some of the other important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:

• First Day: Aug. 26
• Labor Day, no school: Sept. 2.
• Rosh Hashanah, no school: Oct. 3
• Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day, no school: Oct. 14
• Nov. 5: Staff Development Day, No Students
• Veteran’s Day, no school: Nov. 11
• Thanksgiving Break, no school: Nov. 28-29
• Holiday Recess: Dec. 23, 2024 to Jan. 2, 2025
• New Year’s Day, no school: Jan. 1, 2025
• Martin Luther King Day, no school: Jan. 20
• Feb. 14, Staff Development Day, No Students
• Presidents’ Day Recess, no school: Feb. 17-18
• Spring Break, no school: April 14-17
• Good Friday, no school: April 18
• Memorial Day, no school: May 26
• Juneteenth, no school*: June 19 (*if school is in session)
• Projected Last Day: June 9

Graduation will be on the 181st day confirmed at the April Board of Education Meeting.

Additional make-up days after June 30, 2025, if needed will be taken in April.
