Obituary: Albert P. Maggelet, 78 of North Haven

Al, remembered for his original sense of humor and honest spirit, was an avid antique dealer and a software consultant for Keane Inc.

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) With his wife and daughter by his side, Albert P. Maggelet, 78 of North Haven died in his home after a remarkable 4-year journey with pancreatic cancer.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara Rousseau Maggelet, loving father of Scott (Sarah) and Mark Maggelet, Lori Eister (Joe) and Aleshia Rousseau Stahl (Christian) and brother of Andrea Duffy. He was known as Boppy to his six cherished grandchildren.

Al was born in New Haven on Sept 26, 1943 to the late George and Harriet Maggelet (Ziomkiewicz). He retired from Keane Inc where he worked as a software consultant for 17 years.

He never missed an episode of Jeopardy or a UCONN basketball game.

Al loved going to tag sales and was an avid antique dealer, maintaining a spot at the Clinton Antique Center for 20 years (thank you boys). Al will always be remembered for his original sense of humor and honest spirit.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7pm at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave in Hamden. At his family's request, no flowers please.
