Obituary: Michael John Mastropetre, 75, of North Haven
Michael, a loving and devoted family man, worked as an auto body technician for several area auto body shops for over 50 years.
NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Michael John Mastropetre, 75, of North Haven died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus.
He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Melanie O’Donnell Mastropetre. Michael was born in New Haven on February 8, 1946, a son of the late Salvatore and Mary Quigley Mastropetre, and had lived in New Haven for much of his life before moving to North Haven 33 years ago.
He was an auto body technician for several area auto body shops for over 50 years including Horseless Carriage Garage of North Haven.
Michael is also survived by three sons, Michael (Amy) Mastropetre, Jr., Mark (Paula) Mastropetre and Thomas Mastropetre of West Haven, and one brother, Salvatore (Ruthy) Mastropetre.
He was predeceased by his son Christopher Mastropetre, one sister, Joan Torres and two brothers, Thomas and Louis Mastropetre. Funeral services for Michael are private and have been entrusted to Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
