Reported Threat Involving North Haven High School Students Not Credible, Police Say
Police investigated a reported threat involving North Haven High School students, according to officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A reported threat involving North Haven High School students was found to be not credible on Monday, according to police.
Police said North Haven detectives responded Monday morning to the reported threat, and after a thorough investigation, determined “there was no credible threat and no danger to students or staff.”
The situation has been resolved, according to police.

“We understand how concerning these reports can be for students, parents, and the community,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Please take this as a reminder that words matter — comments made online or in person, even as a joke, can cause serious alarm and lead to real consequences.
“We appreciate the quick actions of school staff and the cooperation of our students and families in keeping our schools safe. If you see or hear something concerning, please continue to report it immediately to a trusted adult or to law enforcement.”
