Since June is Dog License Month, It's Rabies Clinic Time
June is the month to register your dog with your town, but in order to register Fido or Buffy, your dog must have a current and valid rabies certificate.
A message from the North Haven and East Haven Animal Shelters:
East Haven Animal Control Officer, Owen Little, has announced that the East Haven and North Haven Animal Shelters will be hosting a “Rabies Clinic” on Saturday June 1st from 1pm until 3pm.
The clinic will be held at the East Haven Shelter at 183 Commerce Street and the cost will be $15 (cash only).
Officer Little reminds owners that dogs must be on leashes and cats secured in carriers. All towns require dogs to be licensed during the month of June each year and each dog owner must present proof of a current rabies vaccination.
