Teen, 19, Charged In Attempted Burglary At Business In North Haven: PD
Police said the store's front window was broken, but the suspects didn't enter the building.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 19-year-old Naugatuck resident has been arrested in connection with the attempted burglary of a jewelry store in North Haven last October, according to police.
The attempted burglary took place Oct. 20, according to police.
Police said patrol officers responded to a business alarm and found the front window broken, but no entry was made into the building.

Detectives were assigned to follow up and, working in collaboration with other towns, were able to identify 19-year-old Jakyii Grant of Naugatuck as one of the suspects, according to police.
Grant was arrested Monday on a warrant and charged with criminal attempt to commit third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
