2 Norwalk Beaches Are Now Open To Swimmers After Being Closed
On Wednesday, Norwalk officials announced that water samples demonstrated elevated bacterial levels at two popular beaches.

NORWALK, CT — Calf Pasture Beach and Shady Beach are now open to swimmers, Norwalk officials said Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, local officials said that while Calf Pasture Beach and Shady Beach remain open to visitors, swimming is prohibited due to water samples demonstrating elevated bacterial levels.
Water samples demonstrating elevated bacterial levels were also found at several beaches in Westport, including Compo Beach.
