Additional Arrest Made In Norwalk Self Storage Facility Burglary Investigation: Police
A second person has been charged in connection to a burglary reported at a self storage facility in Norwalk, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A second person has been charged in connection to a burglary reported last year at a self storage facility in Norwalk, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said Colt Meadows, 22, of West Haven, was arrested Tuesday at Stamford Superior Court.
He was charged with five counts of third-degree burglary, five counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, two counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of conspiracy to commit theft of a firearm, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

According to Podgorski, a commercial burglary was reported at a CubeSmart Self Storage of Norwalk facility, located on Bouton Street, on July 1, 2024.
Officers discovered multiple storage units had been broken into at the facility and numerous items had been stolen, including approximately $23,000 worth of shoes, clothing, electronics and multiple firearms, Podgorski said.

During an extensive investigation in collaboration with several law enforcement agencies, police determined a .357 revolver stolen during the burglary had been recovered in Branford, according to Podgorski.
In September, Podgorski said the investigation revealed a total of 89 storage units had been entered at the facility.
A Hamden man was arrested last month in connection to the burglary, according to police.
Meadows was later identified as an additional suspect, Podgorski said.
His bond was set at $50,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court this week, according to Podgorski.
