American Legion Norwalk Receives Largest Private Donation in Ninety-Six Year History

NORWALK, CT - LQR MKT presented a $10,000 donation to the Post 12 American Legion October 20 at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Norwalk store.

American Legion Norwalk, which was founded in 1919, received the check with gratitude, noting that it would fund basic operational and maintenance projects for the patriotic veterans’ organization.

“We’re proud to support The American Legion and the programs that they offer for veterans. LQR MKT would like to thank all who selflessly serve our country. This donation is one small way we can show our gratitude,” said Marino Sarno, LQR MKT General Manager.

LQR MKT is located at 360 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut, is over 20,000 square feet, offers a selection of over 1000 beers, 2000 spirits and 4000 wines and features the largest walk-in cooler in Norwalk.
