Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk Appoints Wellness Director

WALTHAM, Mass. – December 11, 2204 - EPOCH Senior Living, a premier provider of exceptional senior living services throughout the Northeast, is pleased to announce the promotion of Brittany Pettway, RN to Wellness Director at Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk.

Pettway has served as RN Designee to the Wellness Director within the Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk team since 2023. In this capacity, she supervised care staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies; assisted with training and monitoring of medication administration; conducted resident assessments; monitored the health, safety and well-being of residents; and provided direct care to residents. Prior to her role as RN Designee, Pettway was a Wellness Nurse at Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk from 2021-2023. In this role, she administered medication; supervised caregivers; collaborated with nurses and medical directors to plan care for residents; and provided specialized and direct care. Before joining the team at Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk, Pettway held several other positions in the area as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Ms. Pettway is certified in CPR and AED, holding an active Connecticut Registered Nurse license.

Her responsibilities as Wellness Director at Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk includes overseeing the daily operations of the wellness staff, including nurses and aides, as they work to make every day a success for all residents. Pettway also coordinates services and acts as a liaison between health partners who provide services to residents.
