Here are five things Norwalk residents need to know for Tuesday, July 30.

Here are a few things to know about Norwalk for Tuesday, July 30 to help you plan your day. Check out the Patch calendar of events for more things to do.
- The weather: The forecast is predicting a high of 81 degrees and a 0 percent chance of rain.
- Help out at a food bank drive: Platinum Property Real Estate is holding a food bank drive this week. Donate between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or stop by the company's one-year anniversary party Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be a raffle. For more information, click here.
- Play with Legos: The Norwalk Public Library is hosting Family Legos from 2 to 3:15 p.m. for children ages 4 to 7 and adults. Tickets are handed out starting at 1:30 p.m. See the event page for more details.
- Head to the beach: With the clear skies, why not take a trip to Calf Pasture Beach and enjoy the sunshine?
- Go to a nearby town for live music: Wilton Steel is scheduled to play Tuesday at Wilton Pizza and Marley's patio from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The band plays outdoors, and admission is free. See Wilton Steel's website for more details.
