Dorothy Pellegrino, 84, Conversationalist

Dorothy Pellegrino, age 84 of Norwalk, died on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her home, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  

Born in Astoria, NY, the daughter of the late Alfonso and Maria (Gallo) Esposito, she was the wife of the late Rocco Pellegrino. Dorothy was a loving family woman who enjoyed cooking and conversing with people. 

She is survived by her 2 daughters; Angela Lacovara and her husband Joe and Maria Brancaccio and her husband Bill, all of Norwalk, as well as 5 cherished grandchildren;  Billy Brancaccio, Megan Lacovara, Nicole Brancaccio, Caitlyn and Joseph Lacovara, as well as her siblings; Rose Lorenzino, Albie Esposito, Mary Suppa, Carolyne McGuire and Joseph Esposito. She was predeceased by her brother Tony Esposito.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday  June 1, at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd, Norwalk, with entombment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4PM and 7-9PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. CT.
