Kids + Food + Sunday: Funny Food Art at Stepping Stones

On Sunday, Dec. 1 at Stepping Stones Museum, there will be a Funny Food Art Presentation with Bill and Clair Wurtzel at 2:00 pm.  

Expect a feast for the eyes as the acclaimed authors of Funny Food Art make a presentation on how to make artfully nutritious meals.

According to the Funny Food Art website, "since they got married in 1961, Bill Wurtzel has made healthy, artistic and hilarious breakfasts for Claire just an expression of his love for her."

If the food art looks familiar, you may have seen it in the Maritime Garage Gallery as part of the exhibit, "Gusto," which runs until January 10, 2014, just across from the Maritime Aquarium.

Wurtzel's artistic food creations are spontaneous and witty, and his book, “Funny Food: 365 Fun, Healthy, Silly, Creative Breakfasts” (Welcome Books, 2011), was chosen as Best Children’s Book of 2012 by the Bank Street College Book Committee.
