Man Arrested After Rollover Crash In Norwalk: Police

Police said officers found a vehicle overturned onto its driver's side and noticed the driver trying to climb back inside.

NORWALK, CT — A city man was arrested following a rollover crash Monday afternoon in Norwalk, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the crash was reported just before 4 p.m. on East Avenue.

Officers found a gold Acura MDX overturned onto its driver's side and noticed the driver, identified as Christopher Jon Telesco, 49, of Norwalk, trying to climb back into the vehicle, Evarts said.

During their investigation, officers determined Telesco was operating under the influence and arrested him, according to Evarts.

During a search of his person and the vehicle, officers found narcotics, controlled substances, cash and drug paraphernalia, Evarts said.

Telesco was charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics, use of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive in proper lane, illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

His bond was set at $100,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to Evarts.
