Michael S. Kurtzman, 52, Norwalk Pastor

Michael S. Kurtzman, age 52, of Norwalk, died on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the son of Helen and the late Steven Kurtzman, he was the beloved husband of Sharon (Toss) Kurtzman for 24 years. 

Michael worked as a printer and enjoyed bible studies, motorcycles and vegetable gardening. His strong Christian faith led him to become a Pastor, where he found great joy ministering to the spiritual needs of others.  

In addition to his loving wife Sharon and his mother Helen, both of Norwalk, he is survived by his brother Richard Kurtzman of Norwalk,his sister Diana DeFonzo and her husband Paul of Orange, as well as 13 loving nieces and nephews with whom he enjoyed spending time. He is also survived his little buddy Kurt.  

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Peter Westfield will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 7, in the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home.
