Mildred LeCount Haven, 87, Lifetime Norwalk Resident

Mildred LeCount Haven, age 87, of Norwalk, died peacefully Thursday, May 10, 2011, at Wilton Meadows Care Center.

She was the devoted wife of the late Gerald E. Haven, Sr. Mildred was born in Norwalk on March 4, 1925, daughter of the late William and May LeCount and brothers Vernon and Richard LeCount. Mildred, loving mother to her 4 sons, Gerald E. Haven, Jr. of Ardmore, PA, Jeffrey W. Haven of Norwalk, William L. Haven of Torrington and Scott E. Haven of Norwalk, with 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeremy Haven, and many nieces and nephews.

In her working days, Mildred was employed at Modern Printing and then Garden Way of Norwalk. Mildred loved caring for her family, reading a good mystery, painting and a good time with her family and friends.

Services will be held at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Monday, May 14, at 11 AM, with interment to follow at Willowbrook Cemetery in Westport.
