Moccia Invites Citizens to Norwalk City Hall for 9/11 Memorial
The ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. with an 8:45 a.m. moment of silence.

Mayor Richard A. Moccia invites the City of Norwalk to join him in remembering the Eleventh Year Anniversary of the attacks on America this Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
The city will participate in a ceremony outside of the front of City Hall at 8:30 a.m., September 11, 2012. We will gather to remember our lost residents, and all of the other fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors. I urge residents to also in recognize our heroes who rose into service in response to the 9/11 attacks, such as the first responders, recovery workers, volunteers, public safety and members of our military.
In participating in formal ceremonies, Mayor Moccia urges all citizens to pay their respects to the victims and heroes who died or were injured during the worst terrorist attack in our Nation’s History. Norwalk specifically remembers:
