New Bagel Spot To Open In Cranbury Area Of Norwalk
The Bagel Spot, a new deli specializing in New York-style bagels, is set to open soon at a shopping plaza in the Cranbury area of the city.

NORWALK, CT — The Bagel Spot, a new deli specializing in New York-style bagels, is set to open soon in the Cranbury area of the city.
Work inside the bagel shop, located at 18 Chestnut Hill Road, has been steadily progressing over the summer.
Owner Anatolia Tsilfides confirmed this week to Patch the store is currently scheduled to hold a soft opening Monday.

In addition to bagels, the store will also serve classic deli sandwiches, salads, coffee and more, according to the new business' Facebook page.
In late July, the business posted a sneak peek of all the work finished inside the store thus far.

"Can't wait to welcome you in soon," the post reads. "Thank you all for all the support, love and excitement! Stay tuned!"
The Bagel Spot's opening was first announced on the Facebook page in June.
"My little dream is rising," the June announcement reads. "After years of early mornings, hard work and a whole lot of bagel love...I'm opening a deli of my own-right here in Norwalk! The Bagel Spot is (almost) ready to open, and we are beyond excited to serve up NY bagels, deli sandwiches, salads, coffees and more, all made with love."
The post also noted "sneak peeks, menu previews and opening updates" would be shared to the Facebook page in the lead up to opening.
The Bagel Spot is located at a shopping plaza in a mostly residential area of the city alongside Little Nick's Pizza & Pasta, Village Gourmet Chinese Restaurant, Cranbury Supermarket and a few other businesses.
"Whether you're stopping by for your morning coffee or lunch that hits the spot, we've got something for everyone," the Facebook page description reads. "Locally owned, community loved."
