Norwalk COVID-19 Testing Site Moves To New Location
The COVID-19 community testing site has moved from Shady Beach to a new location in Norwalk.
NORWALK, CT — The COVID-19 community testing site has moved from Shady Beach to a new location in Norwalk.
Mayor Harry Rilling said in a news release the testing site has moved to the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion lower parking lot, located at 295 West Avenue, as of Monday. Testing at this site will be performed by Quest Diagnostics.
Testing at the new location will take place Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., as well as Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Like so many of you, I am ready for this pandemic to be over and know that the past two years plus have been a challenging time for everyone," Rilling said in a news release. "However we must stay vigilant, especially as our city experiences an uptick in [coronavirus] cases. That's why I'm proud that this new testing location at the lower parking lot at Lockwood- Mathews Mansion will continue to offer our residents with the best tools available to ensure they remain as safe and healthy as possible. Together, we can mitigate the spread of this virus and continue to enjoy our everyday lives."
The city continues to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and encourages residents who have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus to get tested and isolate accordingly.
