Norwalk Health Center To Distribute Free COVID-19 Test Kits

Norwalk Community Health Center plans to distribute free COVID-19 self-test kits from its South Norwalk site on this date.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Community Health Center plans to distribute free COVID-19 self-test kits from its South Norwalk site at Smilow Life Center, located at 55 Chestnut Street, on Feb. 5.

In a news release, NCHC spokesperson Betty Cordellos said the at-home test kits will be distributed at no cost, while supplies last, but limited to two kits per household.

The distribution is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to noon, with a snow date set for Feb. 12.

NCHC at Smilow Life Center also provides community PCR COVID-19 tests on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. To request a PCR test appointment, visit www.norwalkchc.org.

Those being tested at NCHC at Smilow will also receive one free at-home COVID-19 test kit, Cordellos said

The center also offers weekday community pediatric and adult COVID-19 vaccination clinics at its 120 Connecticut Avenue flagship location. A free COVID-19 vaccine or booster can be requested here.
