Norwalk Police Remind Residents To Lock Their Cars, Remove Valuables
Police remind Norwalk residents to lock their car doors and remove all valuables from their vehicles.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Police Department posted a reminder to social media Tuesday urging all residents to lock their car doors.
In a Facebook post, police also reminded residents to remove all valuables from their vehicles, even when parked in their own driveway.

- Always lock your vehicle.
- Take wallets, phones, bags and other valuables inside.
- Don't leave keys or fobs in the car overnight.
- Consider exterior lighting or cameras for added security.
"Many thefts from vehicles are crimes of opportunity," police said on Facebook, "let's work together to prevent them!"
