Norwalk Schools Important Calendar Dates To Know: Early Dismissals, Spring Break

NORWALK, CT — As families continue to celebrate the holidays, here is an updated look at the Norwalk Public Schools calendar for the remainder of 2025 and the 2026 school year.

You'll notice the holiday break extends from Christmas Eve through Jan. 4. Students return to school on Jan. 5, 2026.

There isn't an extended winter break on the calendar but there is a spring break from April 6-10.

The tentative last day of the school year is currently June 17, but that could change depending on how many snow days there are.

Norwalk Public Schools remaining key dates to be aware of:

• Dec. 24 - Jan. 2: Winter Recess (No School)
• Jan. 19: Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No School)
• Jan. 26: 2 Hr Early Dismissal (PD for Staff)
• Feb. 16 - 20: Presidents’ Day Recess (No School)
• March 10 - 11: K-5 Conferences (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
• March 12: K-5 Conferences (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
• March 20: Eid al-Fitr (No School)
• March 30: PD for Staff (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
• April 3: Good Friday (No School)
• April 6 - 10: Spring Recess (No School)
• April 27: PD for Staff (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
• May 11: PD for Staff (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
• May 25: Memorial Day (No School)
• June 16: 2 Hr Early Dismissal
• June 17: Tentative Last Day of School (2 Hr Early Dismissal)
