Opening Date Announced For New Kid-Friendly Playhouse, Café At Norwalk Mall

NORWALK, CT — An opening date has been announced for a new child-friendly playhouse and café at the SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk.

Playhouse SoNo will hold its grand opening Nov. 1 on the mall's third floor, according to the Playhouse's Instagram.

Described as a "magical, modern play space designed for kids to explore, imagine and have so much fun," Playhouse SoNo will open in the former CAMP space at the mall.

The opening will mark the second Playhouse location overall.

Playhouse Fairfield, a jungle-themed indoor playground and party venue for kids with a cozy parent-friendly café, is currently open at the Black Rock Shopping Center in Fairfield.

The Playhouse SoNo team also noted on social media their phone lines are currently open and they are already booking birthday parties and special events at the Norwalk space.

Back in April, a Playhouse spokesperson who declined to be named told Patch the larger Norwalk location will feature many similar touches as the Fairfield space, including ball pits, slides and climbers.

The Norwalk space will also feature an onsite café by New York City bakery AnnTremet Cake, which will offer a wide variety of coffee, tea, pastries and more, as well as kid-friendly snacks.
