Watching my grandchildren grow up in the same house where I was raised, surrounded by the same sense of love and community has been one of my life’s greatest gifts. Our home is one of stories, laughter and memories that remind me why strong communities and matter so much.

Why are you seeking this office?
I am running for Norwalk’s Common Council because of my love for Norwalk, especially East Norwalk, the place my family has proudly called home for four generations. Growing up here gave me not only a strong sense of community but also a deep appreciation for the people, neighborhoods and traditions that make Norwalk so special.
As a lifelong resident, I have seen Norwalk’s growth and challenges firsthand. My commitment is to make sure that District C and our entire city, remain a place where families can thrive, small businesses can succeed and residents feel heard in the decisions that affect their daily lives.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is the lack of transparency. We need to be actively listening to constituents and making sure their voices shape local decisions. The current administration has not done enough to listen to residents and too often important decisions are made without full community input. I will fight for balanced committees and commissions, so that all voices are heard, not just a select few. I will always put transparency, fairness and accountability first. Most importantly, I will listen to residents, bring their concerns to the table and work to make sure East Norwalk and all of District C feel represented in City Hall.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
As a lifelong resident of Norwalk, I have seen Norwalk’s growth and challenges firsthand. I bring a grounded perspective shaped by my family’s long history here and a belief that local government works best when it listens and puts the community first. I want to protect what makes Norwalk unique while also moving us forward with thoughtful planning, responsible budgeting and strong support for our schools and neighborhoods.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Over the years, I have been actively involved in serving our community, including my work with the East Norwalk Improvement Association and the 3rd Taxing District. I am also an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. Through that experience, I’ve seen how local decisions impact residents every day, from essential services to neighborhood improvements. I believe that effective leadership means listening closely, working collaboratively and making responsible choices that protect both our quality of life and our future.
