Popular Taphouse To Close Norwalk Restaurant, Sole CT Location

NORWALK, CT — Sedona Taphouse will close its Norwalk location and sole Connecticut restaurant this summer, a restaurant spokesperson confirmed Friday.

In an email to Patch, a Sedona Taphouse spokesperson confirmed the restaurant, located at 515 West Avenue, will permanently close its doors June 30.

"We are incredibly grateful to our guests and the local community for their support over the years," the restaurant said in a statement. "While this decision was not made lightly, it reflects broader strategic considerations for our brand. We encourage our guests to stay connected with us through our website and social media channels for updates on other Sedona Taphouse locations and future plans as they develop."

The restaurant first opened its doors at the Waypointe complex back in 2015, according to the Norwalk Hour.

Other restaurant at the large complex include Colony Grill, Barcelona Wine Bar, Allora Coffee and Bites and most recently Elm Street Diner and Mighty Quinn's BBQ.

The Norwalk restaurant is Sedona Taphouse's only location in Connecticut. The restaurant chain also operates locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Michigan, with more locations "to be announced," according to the company's website.

The Norwalk restaurant offers dinner, lunch, brunch and happy hour menus with a wide variety of food and drink options, including appetizers, salads, wood-grilled meats, burgers, tacos and pasta among other items.

Sedona Taphouse offers a "new American made-from-scratch menu" inspired by Southwest cuisine featuring hand-cut steaks, sustainable seafood selections and signature house specialties, according to the website.

The restaurant also boasts a large selection of craft beers with a diverse and ever-changing draft and bottle list, along with classic brews, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine list.
