Sarah Fiore Yanott, 95, Norwalk Resident for 60 Years

Sarah Fiore Yanott, 95, was a former employee of Rabhor Robes and T-Bar.

 

Sarah Fiore Yanott, 95, died peacefully at St. Vincent’s Medical Center after a brief illness on Sunday, May 6. 

She was the wife of the late Matthew Fiore and the late Lawrence Yanott.  Sarah was born in Norwalk on October 30, 1916, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rosaria Mastrolillo.  She lived in Norwalk for over 60 years and was a former employee of Rabhor Robes and T-Bar.  Sarah was also a member of the St. Ann Club.  She loved knitting, sewing and cooking, and time with her loving family.

Survivors include her daughter, Dolores Lamminen and her husband Paul of Fairfield, her son Matthew Fiore, Jr. and his wife Judy of Annapolis, MD, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.      

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 10, 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. Sarah’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
