'Several' Asian Restaurants Burglarized In Norwalk: Police
Here's how to protect businesses from burglars, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — “Several” Chinese and Asian restaurants were targeted by burglars over the weekend, Norwalk police announced on Friday.
In a news release, authorities said the burglars tend to strike businesses with minimal surveillance, no alarm and that are hard to see from the street.
The burglars often enter the businesses by breaking the front glass or prying the front door open, police said. They then empty the cash register before fleeing.

Police recommend that owners protect their businesses by installing security cameras and ensuring they are all in working order. Owners should also lock all doors and windows and set the security alarm at the end of each day.
Authorities also recommend emptying the cash register each night and checking on the business on closed days to ensure no break-ins occurred during closed hours.
