Take a Walk, Silvermine!
Norwalk residents are invited to build a neighborhood walking program in historic Silvermine.

From the Norwalk Health Department:
NORWALK, CT – Mayor Harry Rilling, the Norwalk Health Department, the Healthy for Life Project, and the Riverbrook Regional YMCA invite Norwalk residents to a 2.5-mile neighborhood walk this Saturday, October 22, beginning at 8:00 am at Silvermine Elementary School (157 Perry Avenue).
The Norwalk Health Department, in conjunction with the Healthy for Life Project, recently redesigned their popular NorWALKer Route walking maps. Mayor Harry Rilling and his wife, Lucia, lead group walks following a NorWALKer Route every Saturday morning as part of their “Walk With Us” program. We are thrilled to debut the new walking maps to the Rillings and the rest of the Norwalk community this weekend during this neighborhood walking event.
