Today in Norwalk: Merritt Parkway Closures, Meetings and More

Here are a few things to know about Norwalk for Tuesday, July 23 to help you plan your day. Check out the Patch calendar of events for more things to do.

  1. The weather: The forecast predicts a high of 83 degrees, but also scattered thunderstorms with a 50 percent chance of rain. There may also be 78 percent humidity.
  2. Beware of closures: There will be Merritt Parkway lane closures Tuesday between exits 42 and 44 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, click here.
  3. Harbor Management Commission: The commission will hold a special meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening in room 220 of Norwalk City Hall. 
  4. Tree Advisory Committee: The committee has a meeting planned from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Department of Public Works library in room 225. Call 203-854-7891 for more information.
