US Furniture Opens New Store In Wall Street Area Of Norwalk
The furniture retailer recently opened a new store in the city's Wall Street area after relocating from its previous space in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — US Furniture, a popular furniture and mattress retailer, recently opened a new store space in the city's Wall Street area after relocating from its previous space in Norwalk.
In an email to Patch, a US Furniture spokesperson confirmed the store had moved to 84 Wall Street and was now open to the public.
US Furniture previously operated a store at 51 Richards Avenue in the busy Connecticut Avenue area of the city, however the store spokesperson also confirmed that location has closed.

The Wall Street store location could be seen open for business Wednesday afternoon. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The furniture retailer also operates two other stores at 881 Wolcott Street in Waterbury and at 83 East Main Street in Torrington. The company is based in Waterbury.

All three stores sell a wide variety of furniture, with options ranging from living room, bedroom and dining room to home office, outdoor and entertainment.
Additionally, the store offers a large selection of mattresses, including memory foam, hybrid and innerspring, according to the store's website.
The opening of US Furniture marks another new addition to the city's growing Wall Street area that has seen a number of business open in recent months.
Bar Bushido, a new traditional Japanese izakaya from acclaimed chef and Taproot owner Jeff Taibe, opened its doors at 51 Wall Street in January.
Flying Scotsman, a bar focused on finely crafted cocktails and unique whisky experiences, held its official grand opening at 30 Main Street in October.
The area also saw a noticeable loss late last year when New York Bakery, a Norwalk staple with a history that dates back to the 1950's, permanently closed its doors just before Thanksgiving.
