• Old Lyme OKs Plaques Honoring Service Members, Final Location Still Uncertain (lymeline.com) — Old Lyme’s Board of Selectmen has approved the Duck River Garden Club’s plan to purchase Blue Star and Gold Star memorial markers honoring U.S. service members, aiming to install them before the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations. The final location, likely at Memorial Town Hall but still subject to Historic District Commission approval, would make Old Lyme one of only three Connecticut towns with a Blue Star marker.
