August “Gus” Kreuzkamp of Orange, CT, son of August and Doris was born in New York City, 1942. Gus departed Monday night November 24, 2025 after a long illness. A dedicated and loving husband. His family was the greatest joy of his life. A life led by his faith in Christ.
Husband of fifty-six years to Ellen Kreuzkamp. Father of August III (Kristen), Laura Conklin (Michael), Matthew (Marguerite). Grandfather of August IV, Charles, Valerie Conklin, Sarina Conklin. His family enlarged his heart and filled him with joy.
Family was his fortune. His attributes of integrity, kindness, diligence, joy, and humility are his fame. United in strength with the love of his life, Ellen, they navigated the family God gave them through life’s challenges. He delighted in the growth and development of their kids and grandchildren.
