• Orange Takes Step Toward Adding Red-Light And Speed Cameras​: Report (patch.com) — Orange officials are moving forward with an ordinance that could bring red-light and speed cameras to key roads including Racebrook, Orange Center and Grassy Hill, and Dogburn Lane. At a recent Board of Selectmen meeting, residents and police leaders largely backed the plan, emphasizing safety, privacy protections, and a grace period before fines begin, while noting that any revenue would be directed to traffic and transportation improvements.
   

• Obituary: Cheryl Sullivan, 78, Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother (orangectlive.com) — Orange residents are mourning the passing of Cheryl “Cheri” Sullivan, 78, a lifelong Connecticut resident and Amity Regional High School graduate who spent her career as an x-ray technician at St. Raphael’s Hospital. Remembered for her joyful spirit and ability to bring people together, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, three children, a sister, and five grandchildren; services will be announced later.
