Baseball, Softball Training Facility Opening In Orange

The owners of the 29,750-square-foot building aim to open in early fall.

ORANGE, CT — A 29,750-square-foot sports training facility is coming to Orange in the fall.

The Grind Baseball and Softball Training Facility purchased the 29,750-square-foot building at 401 Boston Post Road.

The Grind is currently located at 83 Boston Post Road in Orange and offers baseball and softball instruction, rental areas for teams and individuals, and camps and coach’s clinics.

In a prepared statement, Barbara Pearce, chair and CEO of Pearce Real Estate, said senior commercial broker Carl Russell represented the buyer in the sale last month.

Half of the 29,750 square-foot building will serve as the new home of The Grind Baseball and Softball Training facility, while the remaining space will be available for lease.

According to its website, their instruction ranges from hitting, pitching and catching. Their goal is to help every athlete improve through hard work, goal-setting and proper mechanics while keeping sight of the joy of the sport.

On its Facebook page, The Grind Baseball and Softball Training Facility stated it aims to open in early fall.
