Local Woman Recognized As 'Kind And Supportive' Neighbor: Best Of 2025

ORANGE, CT — Every community has its bright spots — the neighbors, businesses and local favorites that make it feel like home. As 2025 comes to a close, Patch and T-Mobile are recognizing the people, places and moments that made this year brighter in Orange through our Best of 2025 series.

Judith Toohey

How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

Judith is my neighbor. She in charge of the welcome committee in GOP in Orange. She writes very important articles in the local newspaper. She welcomes our neighbors.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

Judith is a very helpful person. I came from outside of the U.S. She helps me with legal papers. She stops by my house to help with contractors, to make sure if I am OK.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Kind and supportive, and beautiful inside and out.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

Friendly people, a lot of open land. Community center is serving well to people of Orange and beyond. My friends from Milford are members of Orange Center.
