Car Catches Fire After Rollover Crash On Route 15 In Orange
Crews extinguished the fire that had spread to a nearby brush on Route 15 in Orange, according to officials.
ORANGE, CT — A driver escaped injury after a vehicle caught fire following a rollover crash on Route 15 in Orange on Wednesday morning, according to fire officials.
The Orange Volunteer Fire Department responded around 7:15 a.m. to Route 15 North near Exit 56 for a rollover crash with the vehicle on fire.
“Upon arriving it was determined the operator was out of the vehicle and luckily escaped any injuries,” officials wrote in a post on the Orange Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page. “2 Engines and 8 firefighters responded and extinguished the fire that spread to nearby brush.”
