Touch-A-Truck Event, Water Balloon Fight Part Of Special Orange Event
The 2023 Youth Service and Safety Week will include a week of fun events for Orange residents. Here is the full list of events.
ORANGE, CT – Town of Orange Police Department, Youth Services and Volunteer Fire Department are gearing up for the 2023 Youth Service and Safety Week.
The 2023 Youth Service and Safety Week runs from July 10 through July 14 in different locations for each event.
Youth Services and Safety Week is only open to Orange residents.

Starting on July 10 is the Touch-a-Truck event. During this event, people can explore the town vehicles, including fire trucks, police cruisers, dump trucks, police motorcycles and more. Hot dogs will be served (while supplies last). The event starts from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town of Orange Highway Department, 308 Lambert Rd.
The Sweet Treats Tuesday is July 11 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town of Orange Police Department, 314 Lambert Rd. During this event, talk with Youth Services Coordinator Jessica Simone and police department personnel with coffee, and children can decorate a donut.

Water Day Wednesday is on July 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town of Orange Highway Department. Play water games with the Orange Volunteer Fire Department and Orange Police Department personnel during the event and have a chance to dunk a town employee in the dunk tank.
Field Day is set for Thursday, July 3, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town of Orange Police Department. During the event, join the police personnel on the front lawn of the police department headquarters for lawn games, water balloon fights, a slip n slide and grab a treat from the ice cream truck.
The 2023 Youth Service and Safety Week ends on Friday, July 14, with Field Day Part 2 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town of Orange Police Department. The event features lawn games, sidewalk chalk and a food truck. Also, Have your child’s care seat inspected by the Orange Police Department Youth Officers.
Light snacks and refreshments are offered daily.
