Arnone still has plenty of Connecticut fans - as his Facebook page has thousands of likes and followers.
Arnone, who grew up in Orange, was a graduate of Amity High School and studied meteorology at Western Connecticut State University.
Of leaving Connecticut, he said: “I had a great four years at WTNH and can’t thank my managers and coworkers enough for the great experience and opportunity.”
Arnone said he’s been overwhelmed by the positive comments he’s received on social media since he broke the news of his departure from WTNH.
Arnone said he plans to keep his online weather blog running “for all my Connecticut followers and plan on updating it often.” You can find it here: https://www.exactweathernow.com/
