Firefighters Respond To Blaze In Orange Woods
Firefighters responded to the call early Wednesday morning.
ORANGE, CT — Firefighters extinguished a blaze in the woods early Wednesday morning, according to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched behind 220 Indian River Road for a report of a fire in the woods at 2:34 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a 20-by-30-square-foot area actively burning.

"After gaining access to the area and suppressing the fire, it was determined there were debris consistent with a homeless encampment that had burned," fire officials said.
There was no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
