Greto, Isabel (Petruccelli) of Orange, CT age 105, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025.

She devoted her life to her family and friends and leaves behind four generations who adored her.

Greto, Isabel (Petruccelli) of Orange, CT age 105, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday November 20, 2025. She was born October 10, 1920 in Boston, MA to Carmela and Anthony Petruccelli. Isabel was married on November 29, 1941 to her late, love of her life, Elia (Leo) Greto.

She devoted her life to her family and friends and leaves behind four generations who adored her. She was the mother of 4 children: her daughter, the late Leona Gargiulo (her children Lisa Gillespie (James), the late Gina Gargiulo, and Laura Manning); her daughter Rosemary Tulli; her son Steven Greto; her daughter Carol Kane (Paul) and her children Adam Davies and Sarah Davies. Isabel also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; Sister to Theresa Tullo of VA; Isabel was predeceased by her brother Emilio Petruccelli of NY and her sisters Amalia Puleo of MA and Bernice Barnes of VA. She leaves behind many nieces that also meant the world to her.

Isabel grew up in Roxbury, MA where she met Leo and started a family. They moved to CT where she became part of the Milford community and was a parishioner of St. Agnes church for more than 70 years. Isabel was active as a reader at Mass and part of the Ladies Guild. She loved to travel and was a card shark. She also loved going to Foxwoods to play Bingo and the penny slots. Isabel was a loyal and loving friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish), 400 Merwin Avenue, Milford, CT. Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford.
