Orange Democrats Announce Town Hall Forums to Engage Directly with Voters

(Lexi Crocco 2036414527)

Last Friday, at our annual Orange Democratic Town Committee picnic, we announced something I’m especially excited about: Inside Scoop Town Hall Forums. This is a new series of events where you can meet our candidates, ask questions, and share your ideas for Orange.

We wanted these events to feel welcoming and relaxed, so we’re making them family-friendly—and yes, there will be plenty of ice cream.

Here’s what’s coming up:

  • Thursday, September 18 – I’ll be kicking things off as your candidate for First Selectman
  • Monday, September 29 – Our Board of Selectmen candidates will take the stage
  • Thursday, October 16 – You’ll hear from candidates for the Orange and Amity Boards of Education

Each event will be held at High Plains Community Center from 6:30–7:30 p.m.

To me, this is more than a campaign event—it’s a preview of how I want to lead as First Selectman. Listening, answering questions, and inviting residents to be part of the conversation is how we’ll deliver the best results for Orange.

Our Democratic slate is already out in neighborhoods across town, talking with residents every day. These forums are just one more way we’re making sure people feel heard and connected.

If you’d like to RSVP, learn more about our candidates, or read about our First Priorities platform, head over to OrangeCTDems.org/2025.
