Large Tree Falls On Man Killing Him: Orange Police
"The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to investigate," police said

ORANGE, CT — A 69-year-old man was killed when a tree he was cutting down unexpectedly fell on him, police said.
At 4:40 p.m. Friday, police and fire crews responded to a private residence on Dogwood Road for an emergency involving a man pinned under a fallen tree, police said.
Responders found the 69-year-old homeowner had been cutting down a large tree when it fell unexpectedly onto him, causing fatal injuries, police said.

Relatives called 911, and the Orange Volunteer Fire Department used specialized inflatable airbags to extricate the victim from under the tree, police said.
"The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to investigate," police said. "No criminal charges are expected in connection with this tragic accident. We are not releasing the victim's name at this time."
