Officers Made 186 Traffic Stops In July: Orange Police Dept.

Orange Police Department responded to 1,205 incidents throughout July.

ORANGE, CT – Through July, the Orange Police Department responded to 1,205 incidents ranging from robberies to traffic stops.

The office of Chief Robert Gagne released the Orange Police Department Monthly statistics for July.

Compared to June’s statistics, Orange Police Department responded to 54 more incidents.

Out of those 1,205 incidents, 558 were reports written by Orange Department Police officers.

Orange Police officers made 186 traffic stops and responded to 164 medical emergencies.

In July, officers responded to 123 activated burglar alarms, 74 traffic accidents and 25 criminal arrests.

Other incidents Orange police officers responded to include 39 shoplifting/larceny incidents, 18 fights/disturbances, 13 thefts from/of motor vehicle parts, three burglaries (two commercial, one residential), one motor vehicle theft, and one robbery.
