Connex Credit Union recently celebrated National Credit Union Youth Month by offering an opportunity for their younger members to better their financial future.
Throughout the month of April, clear piggy banks were filled with money and placed in each Connex Credit Union branch. Youth members age 15 and under were eligible to guess the amount inside for a chance at winning the piggy bank and its contents. The child who guessed correctly, or came closest without going over, was deemed the winner.

“We are very proud to support our younger members on their journey to financial stability,” Carl J. Casper, vice president of customer advocacy, said. “Learning the importance of financial education at such a young age is crucial for developing future financial success.”
The contest received numerous entries and prizes were awarded to children as young as three years old. Photos of all the winners can be found on the Connex Credit Union Facebook and Twitter pages.
