Orange CT Bus Crash Sent 12+ To Hospital: PD

ORANGE, CT — More than a dozen people were taken to area hospitals after a Connecticut Transit bus crash on Route 34 in Orange Thursday evening.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Racebrook Road shortly before 7 p.m., police said. The bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck while it was waiting at a red light. Sun glare may have been a factor.

None of the injuries were life-threatening. The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
