• Beloved CT man killed in crash mourned by many across state. Union honors him noting ‘cherish life' (courant.com) — A driver was killed and two others injured in a three-car crash on Grassy Hill Road in Orange, a busy connector between Orange and Milford, Tuesday evening. Orange police say a southbound car crossed the center line, sideswiped one vehicle and hit another head-on. Investigators are asking any witnesses to contact Detective Denny Peterson as they work to reconstruct what happened. 
• These Connecticut Retail Stores And Restaurants Closed In 2025 (patch.com) — Several major chains, including Party City and other national retailers, shut down Connecticut locations in 2025, with at least one Party City store closing in Orange.
