Royal Spice Restaurant Celebrates Grand Opening In Orange
The grand-opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting, followed by a free dinner buffet.

ORANGE, CT — Hundreds of Indian cuisine enthusiasts joined Royal Spice restaurant and the Orange Chamber of Commerce on Thursday night to celebrate the restaurant's official grand opening.
Open to the public, the evening featured a ribbon-cutting, followed by a free dinner buffet.

Located at 85 Boston Post Road, Orange, Royal Spice is the newest addition to the local business community. Operated by co-owners and veteran restaurateurs, Jijin Jimmichan and Vigil Padinhare, the restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine that "takes you on a journey filled with flavors, traditions, and culinary marvels."
Joining Jimmichan, Padinhare, and the Royal Spice staff for the festivities were Barry Lee Cohen, executive director of the Orange Chamber of Commerce; MJ Shannon, State Representative (D-117); and Mitch Goldblatt, Orange Selectman. They were joined by an abundance of new customers, family, and friends from across Connecticut. Each indulged in what the owners coined "a taste of royal elegance."

Shannon presented the owners with an official citation on behalf of the Connecticut State General Assembly, offering congratulations and best wishes for continued success.
“Jijin and Vigil have transformed a dormant storefront into an outstanding oasis for Indian cuisine,” Cohen said. “Large portions, perfect price points, and robust menu choices will have many embracing the magic of Royal Spice. Trust me when I say that your taste buds will thank you!"
