Plea Deal Possible for Oxford Man Accused of Murder

Scott Gellatly is accused of killing his estranged wife and shooting her mother in Oxford back in 2014.

The state is prepared to propose a plea offer to an Oxford man accused of killing his estranged wife in 2014, according to the Republican-American.

Scott Gellatly, 47, of Oxford, is accused of killing his estranged wife, Lori Gellatly, 32, at her parent’s house at 43 Sioux Dr., and shooting her mother, Merry Jackson, who has had several surgeries following the incident in Oxford on May 7, 2014, according to the Republican-American.

The Rep-Am reports a plea deal will be put on the table at Gellatly’s next court date, which is set for Sept. 15 at Milford Superior Court.

Gellatly is charged with murder, attempt to commit murder, first-degree assault, two counts of home invasion, first-degree burglary and first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon, the Rep-Am reports.
