Some residents have opposed the project, citing traffic and player safety concerns.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The proposed Little League baseball field on the Redding line will go before the town's Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday, reports the Ridgefield Press. Neighbors have opposed the project, citing concerns of player safety and increased traffic.

The field would be located at the intersection of Rte. 7 and Simpaug Turnpike. It would have six LED lights and a PA speaker to be used for special games and tournaments. The speaker would not be available for use after 8:59 p.m.
